Counselling and coaching

Counselling and coaching is a professional relationship between counsellor and client involving time and commitment, designed to support the development of personal and family strategies for school avoidance. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment.

Client responsibilities

  • You are responsible for your own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing during sessions, including your choices and decisions.
  • You may discontinue sessions at any time.
  • You agree to pay for sessions or packages in advance, per the fee schedule on the Pricing page.

Mandatory reporting

Counsellors are subject to mandatory reporting laws in Australia. KNOTS will report known or suspected cases of abuse or neglect as required by law.

Updates to these terms

KNOTS reserves the right to update these terms. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
