Counselling for school avoidance
KNOTS is a counselling practice in Tasmania for parents and young people living with school avoidance. Warm, steady, expert support and a way forward.
Is your child refusing to go to school?
Each morning, fraught with guilt, anxiety, inadequacy, uncertainty and fear, you race the clock to make the best decisions for your family.
No matter what you choose, the guilt sets in. Cue the sleepless nights and 3am reruns of everything you think you did wrong that day.
A way forward
To help get your family back on track, whatever that looks like for you, it’s critical that you and your child both have access to a safe space for sharing your challenges, hopes and fears.
Working together, you’ll receive personalised guidance to develop strategies that address both your child’s and your own challenges with school avoidance. Together we uncover practical solutions tailored to your situation, helping you both build resilience and reconnect with the learning process.
Once you understand the why, the real work begins. With my personal commitment and tailored guidance, you and your child craft strategies to overcome any challenge that comes your way.
