For parents and families

Parents & Families Counselling

Individual counselling to help you tackle the obstacles school avoidance brings into your home. We work through the feelings it raises and build practical strategies that bring calm back to the morning. From there, we set realistic goals around supporting your child back to school or onto an alternative pathway.

For tweens and teens

Young People / Students

Support designed to meet your teen where they are. We start with a free 20-minute online meet and greet so they can get a feel for the space. From there, support may include guided journal sessions through the Navigating School Can't workbook. It may also include one-on-one counselling for anxiety, school avoidance, friendships and emotional regulation or mentoring and coaching for teens who need someone in their corner.

School Partnerships

KNOTS works alongside schools to support young people experiencing school distress, disengagement, emotional overwhelm and attendance challenges. Support is practical, relationship-based and neuro-affirming. We work collaboratively with your wellbeing team to build understanding, strengthen relationships and create strategies that help young people reconnect with learning and belonging.
